Pats Recap – Brady Sparks Team With Scramble, Team Responds With Domination
It might have been close on the scoreboard for the first half but as soon as Arrington ripped off a blocked FG for a TD you knew it was over for the Phins.
This defense is amazing to watch. Blowing people up left and right, turnovers, sacks, big Vince Wilforks butt cheeks shaking all over the place during tackles. They keep the team in the game until the offense figures it out and Brady & Co. score at will.
What flipped the switch for the offense was Brady's Barry Sanders-esque run for 17 yards and a whiff of the end zone.
You can see him at the end light up with the thought of taking it all the way, but intelligently peeled off and lowered his shoulder into the defender. Taking contact and not sliding! Stud.
After the game, Brady said he was going to slide but decided against it because he was pissed off. He's 37 years old and still as fired up as anyone out there.
The Patriots wrapped up their 6th straight AFC East Title with the 41-13 domination over the Dolphins so they celebrated with cool t-shirts and some Instagramming by Chandler Jones.
