The Patriots defense came up big, now two weeks in a row, and saved the offense's butt yesterday. To make matters worse, Mark Wahlberg left Mr. Kraft hanging on a high-five.

When the pitiful Oakland Raiders come into Gillette and hold you to 16 points, AND have a chance to win the game, you're not doing something right.

Thankfully, the Raiders are still the Raiders and choked the game away by turning the ball over in the red zone. Vince Wilfork, as he is known to do, added the exclamation point with a belly flop, ball in hand (or gut?), following his interception.

The offense played well at times but still looked out of touch, and out of rhythm. By the way if I see one more illegal pick play (offensive pass interference) I'm going to belly flop through my television.

Julian Edelman is a man among boys out there...Brady included (gasp!). If not for him, the Patriots might be looking at a losing record.

Jonathan blogged this earlier today, but seriously, what's with Marky Mark leaving the most powerful man in Gillette hanging on a high-five? Not a smart move. Definitely the last time we'll see him in the expensive seats. Nobody leaves Kraft hanging.

Next week the Patriots head to Kansas City to take on the 1-2 Chiefs. Are you confident the offense will get it figured before then? I hope so.
