The Winnacunnet High School Engineering Team is hosting the third annual VEX Seacoast Winter Classic Robotics Competition on Saturday, Jan. 17 from 9-4, no admission fee. 50 teams from 15 different high schools will be competing. The teams are given challenges and detailed instructions on the tasks the robots need to complete. In this weekend's event, the robots have to pick up cubes and put them over posts, all with out tipping over.

This event sounds like a lot of fun to observe, for everyone, not just the "Big Bang Theory" enthusiasts. Besides, it's never too early to get used to being around robots. Chances are we'll be working side by side in the not too distant future.
