( Laconia, N.H. ) -The city of Laconia will host this year's annual pumpkin festival after the city of Keene declined to issue a permit for the event  following violence near last year's festival. Laconia mayor Ed Engler said Laconia's experience hosting the  annual motorcycle festival has given officials a good handle on security and public safety.

You may have noticed a pumpkin or two around the neighborhood lately. Okay, maybe more than two. They're everywhere. This means you’ve probably fallen victim to at least a little bit of the hype and purchased some Halloween pumpkins. But what do you do with them in just a few days, when Halloween is in the rearview mirror?

My wife and I carved a couple of pumpkins last night while my daughter tossed pumpkin goo and seeds all over the kitchen.  Clean up was rough, but the pumpkins are ready for Halloween.

So, I was searching the information super highway for some pumpkin carving ideas, and I found this.  Ladies and gentlemen meet 'Baby Poopkin.'  This is by far the most disgusting Halloween pumpkin I have ever seen.  Clever idea, and great execution, but absolutely gross.
