It's ASPARAGUS! Yes. What started out looking like this, continues to grow into the very Star Trek-esque space shrubbery that you see before you.

It's an easy perennial grass to maintain and people are usually amazed at how delicious it is when eaten raw, freshly snapped right out of the ground.

I wouldn't attempt to eat anything when it looks this overgrown though as it gets much tougher as the summer months roll on.
