The Lost 45’s Spoiler Alert; Rare John Lennon From 1980

Barry Scott had so much great material to choose from while highlighting Warner Bros. Records last week, that his entire show tonight is comprised of their subsidiary labels. This John Lennon cut is an extremely rare version of a tune from his final Geffen Records release 'Double Fantasy'.

I joked with Barry a couple weeks ago that I can't believe how he manages to get his hands on tracks that are so rare that they don't even exist. After extensive searching, I couldn't find the version of '(Just Like) Starting Over' that Barry is in possession of. The video above features the original.

You can only hear that special stripped down version tonight from 7pm-10pm on The Shark.
