The Shark Remembers 1976 with This Bicentennial Throwback

As The Shark celebrates 20 years in 20 days this month, I'm happy we're reaching years that I can remember. This is strange because I can remember the following video clearly, yet it's more confusing to me now as an adult.

I remember this on Saturday morning cartoons very clearly, yet I'm flummoxed at to why a 3 minute psychedelic star spangled cartoon being accompanied by a faux Allman Bros. jam session would be played alongside Bugs Bunny and Captain Caveman?

My first memories of pop culture are all Red, White and Blue due to the Bicentennial. Here are some more classic commercials that were infused with the Spirit of '76. Enjoy!
