Actually, based on recent events occurring on the White House grounds, this hardly seems noteworthy.

In 1992, Fleetwood Mac became associated the Clinton administration when their song 'Don't Stop' became a sort of anthem for the Presidential bid. The band played at the Clinton Inauguration, and stayed in touch through out his Presidency.

The band was in town for a concert in 2001 when, according to Mick's autobiography, 'Play On: Now, Then and Fleetwood Mac', Mick felt the call of nature while Bill and Hillary were just a few feet away on the lawn of The White House.

"I was dying to pee, and I didn't have time to go back to the house before we appeared," Fleetwood told the Guardian. "I was saying to my manager, 'What the f--- am I going to do?'"

Fleetwood added  "The security guys must have heard, because suddenly this fella with an earpiece said something like, 'Permission granted to urinate on the lawn. I don't think Bill and Hillary knew about it, but they'd forgive me."

Jeez, first Ozzy Osbourne relieves himself on the Alamo, and now Mick Fleetwood on the White House lawn. Our nations landmarks appear to be under pee seige from British rockers. Still smarting from Revolutionary War, perhaps.
