April 20 1966- Ironically enough in April, the Beatles record George Harrison's 'Taxman'.
April 21 1967- The Beatles finish the recording sessions for Sgt. Pepper. The album would be released 5 weeks later.
April 22 1978- The Blues Brothers (John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd) make their first appearance on SNL.
April 23 1988- Roy Orbison celebrated his 52nd birthday at a Bruce Springsteen concert. He would die later that year on Dec 6.
April 24 1976- John Lennon and Paul McCartney hang out out for what would be the last time at John's apartment. When they saw SNL producer Lorne Michaels offer $3000 for a Beatles reunion on that night's program, they almost went to the studio.
