UNH Announces Plans to Add Video Board to the Whittemore Center

department of athletics unveiled plans today to add a video board, a high-resolution end zone board, and a LED display band at the Whittemore Center Arena all in time for the 2015-16 season.

The video board will be hung at center ice, will be high-definition with full LED video capabilities including instant replay. I can almost hear the boos now after a bogus penalty is called on the Wildcats.

This is awesome and will certainly add another dynamic to the already raucous arena during hockey games. Don't believe me? Take it from men's hockey Coach Dick Umile:
