Work To Begin On Improvements To Rt.1 In Seabrook

The NHDOT has announced the work will begin soon on a section of Rt.1 in Seabrook.

Busy Rt.1 in the Seabrook area might get a tad busier, and the traffic much slower during this road work.

The project is expected to widen close to 1,000 feet or Rt.1 so that an additional southbound lane can be added near the intersection of Railroad Avenue and Pine Street.

The current Autumn Way intersection with Rt.1 will be closed, as Autumn Way will be realigned so that it may intersect Pine Street in an effort to provide access to the traffic light at the Pine Street-Rt.1 intersection.

There will be off-peak hour lane closures during the project as well night work.

No official start date has been set.
