You Can Own A Lock Of John Lennon’s Hair

A 4-inch lock of Lennon's hair is being auctioned off.

Heritage Auctions believes the lock of hair perhaps could sell for $10,000 or more when it goes to auction on February 20th in Dallas.

While John was preparing for his role in the 1967 film 'How I Won The War', a German hairdresser cut his hair, and apparently held onto some for safe keeping and income investment.

I'm wondering how they authenticate that sort of thing, DNA I suppose. At any rate, mark Feb 20th on the calendar to bid on some mop-top.
