6 Alarm Fire in Gonic; Train’s Eye View

Even though this intersection is a around a half mile away from the blaze, you can plainly see the commotion that yesterday's 6 alarm fire caused for the town of Gonic

This is looking eastbound at Colby Street and Route 125. Two emergency vehicles are blockading the street and you can barely see the front of another firetruck at the top of the hill. The air was quite hazy with smoke.

The area North of Gonic Square and South of the Main Street bridge is still closed and will remain that way for the rest of the day. Four families were displaced by this awful fire but luckily nobody was injured.
