Pease Greeters To Meet Their 1,000 Flight

The military flight is expected to arrive tonight at 8:30.

Since 2005, the Pease Greeters have greeted chartered flights of military personnel. Monday night, the 1000th flight that this group will greet will land at the Portsmouth International Airport at Pease. These servicemen and women will either be on their to deployment, or coming home.

And the Pease Greeters will be there. The greeters can number into the hundreds and they greet the service people as they come off their respective flights.

There are over 4,000 people who are signed up to help the organization. Whether the flight arrives in the middle of the day, or the middle of the night, members of The Pease Greeters will be on hand to show a friendly face to the troops who more than likely are far away from home.
