A Boston Building Lands in the Top 10 Ugliest in the World
Let's call it like we see it, shall we? Ugly exists in architecture, and although sometimes it's subjective and relative as art often is, an eyesore is an eyesore when the majority of us are on the same page.
According to Buildworld there's some ugly out there via its AI algorithm study and the opinions of people all over the world. Buildworld, by the way, supplies building materials mostly in the United Kingdom.
Anyway, our good ol’ US of A had 6 of the Top 10 ugliest buildings in the world. Hmmmmm. I personally don't agree with all of them, but for the most part, I agree with the results. So here we go with why Boston landed in the Top 10, with one of the most brutal-looking buildings in the world.
Boston City Hall took the #4 slot in the world, and the #2 slot in just the Top 10 in America.
Yup, that's quite the eyesore for sure. I did find some nice shots trying their best for a beauty shot on the City of Boston's Instagram, because let's be honest, you can tell Boston isn't trying to fool anyone on claiming this is a stunning building. They've obviously owned up to its displeasing aesthetic.
According to Buildworld, here’s the entire list of the Top 10 most horrendous-looking buildings in the United States, including an astoundingly unattractive Trump property as well as the Denver International Airport, which I'm actually okay with. You can click here for photos of all of structures, including the ones around the world.
