Recently, Joe Perry said that Steven Tyler "doesn't want to tour" again with the band, according to Ultimate Classic Rock.  He went on to say that Aerosmith might have one more show in them and here are the reasons why I think it will be in Boston.

Aerosmith's last tour date was supposed to be at the TD Bank Boston Garden

You think you were disappointed when they canceled their "Peace Out" tour, imagine how the band felt.  Tom Hamilton immediately started to book dates with other musicians and Joe Perry went back to the Joe Perry Project that has been around since the '80's and is currently selling our venues like the Hampton Beach Casino.

Where Else in the World Would Aerosmith Play Their Last Show Ever?

As much as I hate to say it, Steven was born in New York and so was Joey Kramer, so the only place that I can think of where Aerosmith might have their final show is at Madison Square Garden.  If that happens, however, I admit, I will be heartbroken.

The BOSTON Garden is the only place they can have this hypothetical, not even any rumors going around, last Aerosmith show, in my humble opinion.

Aerosmith is a Boston Band

Even though only 2 out of the 5 members of Aerosmith were actually born in Massachusetts, they are a Boston band, period, the end.

The now silent rock radio juggernaut, WBCN, 104.1 in Boston played Aerosmith first by the station's first female DJ, Maxanne Sartori.  Steven Tyler himself said, according to mmone.org:

The first person ever to play our record was Maxanne.

Aerosmith all lived in an apartment on Commonwealth Avenue.  It's where they are from.

If Aerosmith does have one more show left in them, and I hope with every rock and roll cell in my body that they do, I am betting it will be in Boston.  Take that bet to Vegas, Baby and I'll see you at the Garden.

Aerosmith Albums Ranked

Any worst-to-best ranking of Aerosmith must deal with two distinct eras: their sleazy '70s work and the slicker, more successful '80s comeback. But which one was better?
