Earlier this morning, the New Hampshire Department of Transportation reported all lanes, both north and southbound were closed to ALL traffic, due to wires across the roadway.

Apparently, a utility pole snapped under the weight of the snow and caused the wires to come down across the roadway.

Traffic was diverted to Route101, Route 33, Rt 1 and the Spaulding Turnpike for approximately two-and-a-half hours.

Officials re-opened both the north and southbound lanes shortly before 10:30 this morning.

There are numerous reports throughout the Granite State of trees, wires and utility poles down. Please use extra caution if you're out and about today.
