Some good news and bad news for two of our favorite Dover businesses.

The bad news first, because, let's just rip the band-aid off.  Lickee's and Chewy's is temporarily closing.

Sad news for our friends at Lickee's and Chewy's, but we know that they are coming back as soon as they can.  When they re-open, this is a perfect place to go for stocking stuffers for Christmas.  It's all about the candy at Lickee's and Chewy's!

Now, the good news - go get your maple squares, cuz Harvey's is back open!  According to their Facebook page:

Harvey’s is happy to announce we will reopen tomorrow Fri. 11/6 at 6:30am.  We have followed State, Local and CDC COVID-19 guidelines.  Our building has been professionally sanitized.
Harvey's is also asking people who don't feel good to please stay home.  I am asking you to stay away from Harvey's too if you don't feel good.  Even though I don't get a maple square every day, I like the option of having one.
On another Harvey's note - you should order your Thanksgiving pies, cakes, fig squares, etc., now.  All the places in the area are getting holiday orders out the waaaa-zoo this year!  I think it might be because families who normally travel are not going to this year, so they need to have Thanksgiving dinner here.  Think about it - if you travel to say... New York to visit your old Aunt Hazel who always makes a feast, you've never had to learn how to cook, so you have to order it.
