Every year, for years, I've been going to the League of NH Craftsmen's Fair in Newbury, NH.  If you're not familiar with it, it goes on for over a week and juried artists from all over the state and some guest artists come to sell their fine art.  Mount Sunapee is filled with glass artists, jewelry makers, pottery masters, painters and more.  I go for inspiration and to, occasionally, take home something that sings to me.

Well, yesterday, something sung to me.  A hair thingy that looked like one that my sister used to wear back in the day.  It's great when you don't feel like doing your hair and you can just throw it up.  See?  Here's my DRY AF hair and my 2nd choice hair thingy:

Why is this one my second choice and not my first?  I knew you'd ask.

I went to the fair by myself and at one of the booths, I started chatting with this woman, looked to be in her 30's, pretty, also by herself.  This woman then followed me to every booth.  Everything I picked up, she picked up.  Everything I asked to see, she asked to see.  Creepy and weird, but whatever.  She didn't seem like she would be too much of a threat, except when we got the the leather booth and there, laid out before me, where a bunch of leather hair thingys.  I picked out my favorite and said something like, "Oh, that's my favorite, I have to get that one."  This lady then picks it up and said to the woman, "Oh, this is perfect for me.  I'll take it."  Now, the stuff at the fair is one-of-a-kind and I knew there was not another one of these, so I told her that I had planned on buying it.  Politely, of course.  She said okay, then when I turned my back for a second, SHE BOUGHT IT!  I couldn't believe it.  I ended up buying my second choice, shown here.

I mean, really, with all the stuff going on in this country, this is DEFINITELY an insignificant problem to have, but I still can't understand what the hell, lady?!!!  I hope she's wearing it anyway....
