According to WMUR, 9-year-old Lennon Anderson was inspired to kick off his day of kindness after he received a kindness box from the New Hampshire group Recycled Percussion. Through online fundraising, Lennon raised 765 dollars to make the day possible. It included free hugs, a station to paint inspiration rocks and collecting school supplies that will go to two local charities.

Justin Spencer from Recycled Percussion heard about Lennon's day of kindness and decided to show up and surprise him! He redeemed his free hug and matched the 765 dollars that Lennon raised. Justin stopped at the "beat station" which was inspired by the band and laid down some beats for the crowd.

Lennon is just getting started with his kindness mission. He plans to start a kindness club at his school this year.
