Boston Doctor Says To Ramp Up COVID-19 Safety Protocols

More good news!  (She says sarcastically....)

Have you heard of the variant strain of COVID-19 that was found in Massachusetts?  Yeah.  Great news, amirite?  What do I mean by that?  Well, there's the regular ol' COVID-19, but then there's a DIFFERENT kind which doesn't make you sicker, but IS more contagious, according to a report from Boston.com.

The report also cites Dr. Abraar Karan, an internal medicine physician at Brigham and Women's, who said that everything we are doing to stop the spread of the Regular Ol' COVID-19 need to be ramped up, not relaxed.  Dr. Karan said that we should still be telling people to open windows on public transportation, don't eat indoors and don't linger any longer than you have to in public places like the grocery store, even if you're wearing a mask.

Such great news.  (again.... sarcasm....)

The report cites a CDC warning that NEW COVID-19 may become the dominant type of infection by March.

Hey, don't shoot the messenger.  I'm just letting you know about the information that I found.  Specifically, I'm addressing my old Aunt Pricilla who is the nicest, sweetest woman who you will ever meet, but this pandemic has made her MAD.  Pricilla doesn't like anyone telling her what to do, but her life circumstances prevent her from doing exactly what she wants to do, so every time someone tells her that this thing (the whole global pandemic thing) is not going quietly in to our history, she gets upset.  I don't blame her.  I am sick of wearing the mask too, but .... if it saves lives, hand it over.  Sorry, Auntie P.
