Remember When Shaquille O'Neal conducted the Boston Pops?

The Pops, at times, will bring in celebrities to be part of the show.  For example, in 2010, they invited Shaquille O'Neal to conduct "Sleigh Ride."

For this concert at the SNHU in Manchester, they will have a reading of "The Night Before Christmas" with the accompaniment of the Boston Pops AND an appearance from Santa and he's the biggest celebrity of all time!

The Boston Pops Have Been Hanging Out With Santa Since 1973

If you are old enough, you might remember Arthur Fiedler, the conductor of the Pops before John Williams.  He started this tradition and back then, it was known as "A Pops Christmas Party" according to the bso.org.
