I don't wanna be bossy or anything, but you must check this out.

Brian May, the OG Guitar God, who virtually joins other guitar GODS of Generation Axe, the Supergroup consisting of Nuno Bettencourt, Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai, Zakk Wylde and Tosin Abasi.

I saw Generation Axe in Medford sometime last year and it was an AWESOME show!  We tried to sneak in to the backstage area, but we didn't make it.  I'm kind of glad because these guys are some of the heaviest hitters in rock music today, so I may have sounded like an idiot.

The show was fantastic until Zakk Wylde blew the speakers out and we had to wait and wait and wait some more for someone to fix them before the show went on.  How rock and roll is that?  Zakk Wylde blows the speakers out?!!  No one cared.  Everyone was thoroughly entertained.  What struck me the most at this show was the unique sound that every guitar had to the point where when they played together, you were able to tell them apart.  Of course, being an Extreme fan, I love hearing Nuno.  He's very melodic even when he's shredding like the rock star that he is!  Nuno treated us to the song from the Extreme album, "Waiting for the Punchline," Midnight Express.  It was the highlight of the show for me.

If you ever have a chance to see any of these guys, with Generation Axe or on their own, make sure you go.  It could be a once in a lifetime opportunity.
