Calling All Antique Dealers: American Pickers Coming To NH
Time to dig through that barn or garage, because American Pickers is coming to New Hampshire!
The show, which airs on the History Channel, features two of the most skilled "pickers" in the business, Mike and Frank, as they travel the country and look for unique collections.
My favorite part of the show is learning the stories behind the antiques and how people came into possession of them!
American PIckers will be in New Hampshire, as well as stops throughout New England, at the end of September.
Casting Director Sarah Perkins says to keep in mind that Mike and Frank only pick private collections "so NO stores, malls, flea markets, museums, auctions, businesses or anything open to the public."
According to IMDB, the show has been on since 2010. Mike Wolfe says " each item we pick has a history all its own. And the people we meet? Well, they're a breed all their own. We make a living telling the history of America... one piece at a time." Frank adds " we travel the back roads of America looking for rusty gold. We're looking for amazing things buried in people's garages and barns."
In order to find those treasures, the guys are looking for leads in our area. If you, or someone you know, has a barn or room full of antiques that you think just may be worth something, American Pickers is looking for you!
You can reach out to them at 1-855-OLD-RUST (653-7878), or their email, which is AmericanPickers@cineflix.com.
You can also hit them up on Facebook here! Best case you 'll make some serious money and get to be on a hit television show, worst case, it's a fun story to tell!
