This question is on everyone's mind.  When will this pandemic end?

Well, the foremost authority (IMHO), Dr. Anthony Fauci says, according to a report from WMUR, that's it's "impossible to predict."  UG.  I hate that.

America is seeing a resurgence of COVID-19 cases because states have been trying to re-open their economies.  Dr. Fauci said in the report:

The thing we need to do is we need to pull out all the stops to get it down to baseline and to keep it there by doing the things that we've been talking about -- that I've been talking about — consistently.

Dr. Fauci is talking about closing everything down and even going as far as wearing goggles because he says the virus can get in through our eyes.

Testing is also key.  Dr. Fauci goes on to say in the report:

If we do that, then I think we will be well toward seeing this under control. If we don't, then we can't make a prediction about how long this will last.

It does make sense if you think about it from a scientist point of view.  If we get to the baseline, which includes everyone getting tested, closing everything down, wearing masks and goggles, then we can start again.  I don't want to do any of those things, but I want this pandemic to go away more than I don't want to wear goggles.

There are differing viewpoints on this one and I respect Dr. Fauci for what he is and the knowledge he has.  There is no one more qualified than this guy.
