This is a party for both '80's and '90's kids alike.  Men at Work, who had the majority of their hits in the '80's, will be performing with Toad the Wet Sprocket who had many hits in the '90's.

The two bands are now getting together on the same stage at the Whittemore Center in Durham, NH on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 in cooperation with the Music Hall.

Men at Work Was a Band New England Got to Know From MTV

MTV was a lesson in culture from other countries.  Men at Work was from Australia, which was literally the farthest away from New England you could get.  We loved the music of this band with the quirky lead singer, Colin Hay.

Fast forward to one of the best alternative bands of the '90's, Toad the Wet Sprocket. They are an American band from Santa Barbara, California.  The lead singer, Glen Phillips has done some solo projects with bands like Squeeze, but now they are going on the road once again as a band.

If you aren't familiar with the band, if I had to make a comparison, it might be to R.E.M., only smoother.  Crowded House would be another comparison.  They are an excellent band and their songs are proving the test of time.

The Whittemore Center Arena is on the campus of the University of New Hampshire.  There is plenty of parking, so you don't need to worry about that.  If you have trouble walking, you may want to consider someone drop you off at the front door because your parking space could be far away.
