Expect Lane Closures On Sarah Long Bridge

Bridge inspections are scheduled for next week.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announced there will be bridge inspections next week.

The inspections are scheduled to begin Monday, June 6 through Friday, June 10, and perhaps into Monday, June 13.

All of which means you can expect lane closures daily from 8 am to 3:30 pm, depending on the weather. There will be electronic message signs and flag persons to notify drivers of the lane closures.

If you use the bridge daily, you may want to seek alternate routes next week when traveling between Portsmouth and Kittery.
