According to a story from Seacoast online, one person was killed this morning in a car crash in Wells, Maine. State Police are investigating the crash this morning that killed one man and sent another male driver to the hospital.  The story goes on to say that the crash was reported around 6:30 a.m. in the northbound lane of the Maine Turnpike, at mile marker 18, near the Wells-Ogunquit town line.

This is an ongoing investigation, but they do believe that speed was a factor.

The traffic situation was not reported in the story, however, as a former traffic reporter, I'm sure that there was quite a delay on both sides of the highway.  When you have to sit through traffic like that, it's sometimes frustrating, especially during the morning commute.

I've said this before and I'll say it again:  (or type, in this case)  If you think you're having a bad day, think of the people in the accident.  They are having a much worse time of it than you.
