Former American Idol Contestant and NH Favorite in Portsmouth

According to Alex Preston's Facebook page, he'll be in Portsmouth on Friday night with Gretchen and the Pickpockets.

I feel like everyone knows this, but just in case..... Alex Preston is from Mont Vernon, NH and went to Souhegan High School in Milford, according to his Wikipedia page and according to many people I know who know him. Although I've never met him myself, I feel as if I know him too. When he was on American Idol, here in NH, everyone was cheering him on. All of a sudden, everyone on Facebook seemed to have some sort of connection with him. I think I heard a rumor that he used to work on my cousin's farm, Trombly Gardens, in Milford, NH, but I can't be sure.

Also, my best friend when I was 14 years old, Lucie Dumais, posted a picture with Alex saying that she used to work with him too. He's a musician, but he has to bring home the bacon, amirite?

Speaking of cousins, his cousin is Jo Dee Messina, also from New England, specifically, Framingham, Massachusetts, so says HER wiki page. I LOVE LOVE LOVE her. I'm hoping to connect with Alex on Friday to see him perform with a great band, Gretchen and the Pickpockets.
