Nope, he didn't eat a single fish!  Whether this big, brown bear looking for a way to cool off is a vegetarian or just respecting his fellow animal friends, I love him.

I ran across this absolutely adorable bear casually getting into this backyard pond filled with big goldfish and koi fish.  He's clearly happy he found a perfect respite from the heat we've seen off and on this month.  I hope he finds this pond again in the midst of the heat wave crippling much of the northeast and beyond.

The fish swimming around didn't see to have a problem at all, not that they had much of a choice.  But no one bothered anyone, instead harmoniously enjoying the water together.

This video comes from WCVB Boston from a backyard pond in Pepperell, Massachusetts, just south of the Nashua, New Hampshire.

With temps in the 90's and stretching for the time being into Sunday, we're all looking for relief.  This cool video shows that even even the bears are searching for ways to cool off.
We're under heat advisories in the Seacoast as well as the entire northeast, so you know the drill.  Drink TONS of water, check on elderly neighbors, make sure you aren't outside too long with pets, and try to keep your dog's paws off the hot pavement as best you can, so they don't burn.
As of now, this heat wave is supposed to subside Sunday, and go back into the 80's next week. Until then, maybe we'll see more adorable video like this.
