This week has been a rough one for statues in New England, a really, really rough week. It's nice to read a positive statue story and this weekend, someone who is very familiar to Shark listeners will be honored in Canada.

Gordon Lightfoot's bronze likeness was unveiled earlier this weekend in his hometown of Orillia, Ontario as the centerpiece of The Gordon Lightfoot Trail.

How can a tune with no drums manage to rock out like 'Sundown' does? They should build a statue of that guy in every town. In Canada AND America.

You cannot post about Gordon Lightfoot without adding 'The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald' I think that should be another law that goes alongside my statue statute I wrote previously.

Congrats to Gordon Lightfoot!
