Have Extra Towels? These Adorable Maine Pets in Need Could Use Them
Portland, Maine, Businesses
One of the most amazing things about all of Maine, but especially in Greater Portland, is that there are so many pet-friendly businesses around. It doesn't need to necessarily be a craft brewery or a restaurant with outdoor dining, and your pet doesn't even need to be an emotional support pet.
More and more Greater Portland businesses are just becoming open and welcoming to allowing pets to accompany their customers with each passing day.
Maine Pet Adoption
While there are countless amazing places to adopt pets from throughout Maine, one of the greatest and most recognized (partially because of all the pups from this place that compete in the Puppy Bowl every year) is hands down the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland.
Between all the pups they've had drafted into the Puppy Bowl year after year, and amazing events like the Shelter Sleep-In, the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland does an insane amount of good for Maine animals.
In fact, according to their official website, the ARLGP serves "more than 4,000 homeless and displaced animals annually," which obviously takes a lot of resources both employee-wise and actual physical item-wise.
And that's why the ARLGP needs your help with an item you may not even think to donate to them.
Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland Wish Lists
While the ARLGP official website has an entire wish list that outlines different foods and other items that both volunteers and pets of all sizes could benefit from, one item not listed on the site is something most people may not even think to donate.
Towels.
How do you not want to boop that snoot and drop off some towels you have laying around?
