As we head into the weekend, we've got the latest numbers when it comes to the coronavirus.

Here are the COVID-19 case counts for New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine as of April 10.

According to NH.Gov, New Hampshire has 819 cases. Mass.gov states that Massachusetts has 18,941 cases. And then Maine.gov says there are 560 cases.

This truly is like living in a Stephen King novel.

I didn't just make that statement up. People have been saying that since this thing began and according to marketwatch.com, Stephen himself recognizes the similarities and says that he's sorry.

If you haven't read the book yet, according to Wikipedia, here's a how they describe it.

The Stand is a post-apocalyptic dark fantasy novel ....... The plot centers on a pandemic of a weaponized strain of influenza that kills almost the entire world population. The few survivors, united in groups, establish a new social system and engage in confrontation with each other.

Sounds like a real page-turner.  There are similarities, yes, but this is NOT going to kill 99% of the population.  We are going to be okay.  Will there be more deaths?  It's almost certain, yes, however, we will survive and I am looking forward to seeing how our "new normal" looks.
