Here are the COVID-19 positive cases for today, Thursday, April 16, 2020:

According to NH.Gov, 1,139

According to Maine.gov, 770

According to Mass.gov, 29,918

Unfortunately, these numbers are still expected to go up.

There is some concern about employees who are working at long-term care facilities in Hillsborough and Rockingham counties, the two hardest hit counties in NH.  According to a report from WMUR, there is some concern about employees who may be carrying the coronavirus and not show any symptoms.  If that was the case, they could pass the virus on to people who are in a high risk category.

That's probably been the scariest part for me during this pandemic.  There are people walking around who have this virus and they don't know it.  And when I say "walking around" I don't mean people who are being irresponsible.  I mean people who are just simply going to the grocery store to get what they need.  They don't know that they have the virus, so they think it's okay for them to go out and be with other people.

I can't wait to get on the other side of this!!!

How can I stay safe while grocery shopping? And answers to 24 other coronavirus questions
