Here’s the COVID-19 Case Count for NH, ME, MA on March 31, 2020
The numbers are still on the rise.
As of Tuesday, March 31, 2020, here are the latest number of coronavirus cases for New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts.
According to the Union Leader, New Hampshire COVID-19 cases: are at 314, with Rockingham County as the hot spot for the most cases.
The report says that Rockingham County's high numbers are likely because it borders Massachusetts and many of the residents work or do business there.
Dr. Benjamin Chan, the state's epidemiologist, said in the article:
I think part of what you’re seeing in Rockingham followed by Hillsborough County is those are areas of the state with the highest population density. They are closer to thoroughfares for people coming up from Massachusetts.
According to News Center Maine, Maine numbers are up to 303, and in Massachusetts, according to Boston 25 news, the number has risen to 5,752 cases.
I'm really looking forward to the day that the numbers start to go down, however, all the news reports that I hear, it doesn't seem that we are even close to that.
