Hey New Hampshire, It’s Trout And Turkey Time!

(Concord, NH) - This weekend marks the start of the 2018 fishing season on New Hampshire's designated Trout Ponds and Fly-Fishing-Only Ponds.

Fishing is allowed in these spots until October15th.

Check with the NH Fish & Game Department for the best fishing spots in the state.

This weekend is also "Youth Turkey Hunt Weekend" in NH, where hunters 15 years of age or younger can take their chances at bagging a turkey before the regular turkey season begins on May 3rd.

Young hunters must be accompanied by a properly licensed adult 18 or older.
The youngsters do not need a license, and the adults cannot carry a firearm or bow and arrow.
