Humpback Whales Spotted Feeding in Boston Harbor
Spotting a whale in the ocean isn't an unusual thing since that's where they live, however, it IS unusual for a lot of whales to feed right in Boston Harbor.
As of today, August 30th, the whales are still there and according to the Associated Press, the whales will stick around as long as there is food.
OH, what a sight that would be to see a humpback whale jumping out of the water in close proximity to my eyes! I am kind of a tree-hugger and I get very emotional with the awe of nature and humpback whales are certainly one of the most beautiful creatures in the ocean. I just hope that they are not being driven closer to us because of some awful circumstance farther in to the water.
Time for a road trip and a boat ride!
