An injured harbor seal was discovered near Brown’s Lobster Pound on Route 286 in Seabrook Monday morning. The male pup, which is believed to be about 2 months old, is reportedly in critical condition, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader. Ashley Stokes, who is a marine mammal rescue manager, told the Union Leader that the pup probably ended up on the road after Monday's high tide.

The seal has been taken to the National Marine Life Center in Massachusetts for rehabilitation, where he will hopefully recover. Stokes said the next couple of days are vital, as per the Union Leader.
