Herb Ivy (aka The Captain) over at WBLM in Portland thought he could slip in a little jab at New Hampshire while promoting his Portland On Tap beer festival. In his video he claims that Maine has the best beer in New England, especially compared to New Hampshire.

Listen here Herb. New Hampshire has some of the top breweries in the nation and our people know their beer. Our Granite State on Tap beer festival was sold out and filled with Granite State beer-lovers.

The sibling rivalry is about to get real between our sister stations because we take pride in New Hampshire brewers. Maine may have some good beers to choose from, but our state is still the tops.

We have challenged the folks over at WBLM to a spirited debate on Maine vs. New Hampshire beer tomorrow. We will show them what it means to be from the "Live Free or Die" state.
