Here Are the 7 Massachusetts Pizza Places Dave Portnoy Has Reviewed in 2026 So Far

Dave Portnoy has been reviewing pizza places for 13 years, with his first-ever review being a Massachusetts spot.

According to One Bite Pizza Reviews, he's reviewed over 2,000 pizza places as of February 2026. That's a lot of pie!

The Barstool CEO is not slowing down anytime soon as he continues his pizza journey across the country, and he's already hit up seven New England spots, all in Massachusetts, for 2026.

Dave Portnoy Reviews Massachusetts Pizza January 2026

Portnoy kicked off the new year by sharing his first review of 2026, focusing on Tony's House of Pizza in Quincy, Massachusetts. Interestingly enough, he only got a large slice versus a whole pizza.

It scored just a tad bit above average with a 6.3.

The New England native did note that the place offered a ton of other food options as well: “They quite literally had everything on the menu.” Tony's website does state that aside from its pizza, it serves burgers, salads, hot and cold subs, seafood, pasta and more.

Following that January 6 review, Portnoy shared his thoughts on six other Massachusetts pizza places.

Almost all of them seemed to be bar pies. While Portnoy is a fan of New Haven style, he also has an appreciation for the various types of pizza you can get.

Thankfully, there were no really low scores given during this latest round of reviews. Check 'em out below.

The star pizza place from this batch of January reviews was definitely Fowler House Cafe, with its score of 8.1. And from the first bite he took in the video, you could tell he was enjoying it.

It made me want to get a slice!

While February was a ghost town for New England reviews, there are plenty of months left to add to the local list. Who knows? Maybe he makes a trek back to Maine and New Hampshire at some point?
