Jetpack Comics In Rochester Hosting Free Comic Book Day Tomorrow

According to the City of Rochester website, Free Comic Book Day is an annual event that takes place at participating comic book shops around the world.  Jetpack Comics, 37 North Main Street in Rochester has been the host for the City for many, many years.

This event attracts thousands and thousands, approximately 5,000 - 7,500 people, in to downtown Rochester.  It's a rain or shine event that includes a comic book scavenger hunt, a costume contest with cash prizes, vendors and live music throughout the day.

It's an event for the whole family!  You can leave the event with a LOT of free comic books and maybe even meet the people who create the comic books themselves.

Don't be alarmed if you see a Pikachu or an Avenger walking around in downtown Rochester.  For tomorrow, it will be completely normal.  However, I've been in the midst of these events before and I can tell you, comic book fans are serious, so they will be in character.  You have been warned.
