The Best Spot in New Hampshire for Leaf Peeping

Turns out the natural beauty of the White Mountains, Maine, Vermont and even Canada can be seen from Milan State Park! Here is what New Hampshire State Parks says you will find there.

Milan Hill State Park is located ten miles north of Berlin near popular areas for hiking, picnicking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and wildlife viewing. From this hilltop campground and the fire tower located there, you can get a complete view of the mountain ranges in New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, and Canada. The park has undergone an extensive renovation and this primitive camping area has added four yurts and relocated six campsites. The campground is open for camping beginning on May 13.

Just look at the view you will see on top of the fire tower.

It's a bit of a hike to get there though. You'll have to drive about 125 miles north of Concord, so you may want to stay the night in a yurt.  What's a yurt? Glad you asked.
