Why This Massachusetts Hidden Beach Is One of the Most Underrated in New England
Back Beach is a small, underrated beach located in Downtown Rockport, Massachusetts. It is a beautiful spot with lovely views and if you go early enough, you are guaranteed to find seaglass.
If you collect seaglass for artwork or jewelry making, this is the place to go. There's no way you won't find an array of incredible pieces for your collection.
The Beach is Very Close to Downtown Rockport
Back Beach is located in Route 127, just North of downtown Rockport's Village, according to coastalbyway.org. It's a very nice spot just to sit and enjoy the view, but it's small, so probably not a place you would want to spread out for the day.
Scuba Divers Love This Spot
I have a friend who goes scuba diving all around New England and he loves this little nook. He said it was far enough from his home in Kittery, Maine and hidden enough for other scuba enthusiasts to find another spot to explore.
From what I can see online, this is a well-known spot for scuba divers. There is so much to see underwater.

There is off-street parking in Rockport, Mass, and depending on what time you want to go to Back Beach, you should find a spot no problem. Obviously, this is a coastal New England town so, from now until the end of the fall, we will be inundated with tourists, so you might want to go on the off hours.
