Remember when we first met K-9 Cora from NH Fish and Game?  What a sweet girl!

You can meet her and her partner, Newmarket native James Benvenuti on December 13 at the NH Fish and Game Department, 11 Hazen Drive, in Concord, NH.

The Department is having a "Shop Wild Saturday" where you can get some great gifts for the outdoor enthusiast in your life.

Check these out, from the NH Fish and Game's website, they have some great ideas for you.

  • Everyone needs a new calendar for 2020, so why not get one featuring award winning photography of local wildlife and will remind you when hunting and fishing season is open.  Available for $12.00.
  • How about a subscription to NH Wildlife Journal.  There is no advertising, just great articles and photos of NH wildlife.
  • NH Fish and Game have a new cookbook, "New Hampshire's Wild Eats:  Cooking Your Catch," featuring recipes for both small and large game, seafood, game birds and more.
  • How about a 2020 Fishing or Hunting License?  This is the most popular item on the list!  You can order by calling the Department at 603-271-3422, but you have to wait until December 13th, they don't go on sale until then.
  • The Hike Safe Card is the one that I want the most.  If you buy the card, it will exempt you from liability for repaying search and rescue costs.  I'm getting one just in case.  Although I don't plan on getting lost, stranded, etc., you never know.

See you on Saturday, December 14 between 10am and 2pm.
