A Manchester man was charged with driving while intoxicated after his motorcycle collided with the side of a New Hampshire State Police vehicle early Sunday morning.

State Police said the motorcycle, driven by William Hebert, 62, didn't stop at a stop sign on Hayward Street in Manchester approaching Willow Street around 1:05 a.m., instead hitting the side of the cruiser headed southbound.

The two troopers were taken to Elliot Hospital to be checked out, and were released without injury. Hebert was also taken to Elliot Hospital for evaluation and arrested while there. He was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, and operating after suspension.

State Police asked anyone with witnessed the crash to call them at 603-545-4288.
