Mark your calendar for Saturday, February 8 for a road trip to the Museum of Science in Boston and discover life from your dogs point of view in their exhibit, Dogs!  A Science Tail.

According to the Museum's website, you can experience the incredible ways that your dog sees, hears and smells the world through all kinds of super fun hands-on activities and discover the science behind our love of our four legged best friends.

I believe dogs and cats improve our health, both mentally and physically.  They are the ones you come home to and demand to be fed and loved.  It doesn't matter what kind of day you are having, your dog still needs to be fed.  Your cat demands that you give her attention.

This is Summer.  She was a very, very special German Shepherd that was always there for me through a big part of my childhood.  She was there when my Dad died at 9 years old.  She was there again a month later when our family had a house fire.  I couldn't have made it through those times without her.  I remember nuzzling my face in to her fur, crying my eyes out and she would listen and lick my face.  I miss that girl.

I would love to go to this exhibit just to learn more about her and her life when she was here on Earth with me.  She was one empathetic soul.  Maybe I'll see you there!
