According to a story from WMUR, animal shelters everywhere are asking people to consider becoming a foster pet parent for any impact coronavirus may have on people currently taking care of animals.

The story goes on to say that some shelters have closed and there is no way for new pet owners to meet a pet at this time, making adoption even more difficult.  Also, their staff can't work from home, so they are running in to many challenges.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Having an animal around at this time would be so comforting for both the animal and the care-giver.  If you'd like to look in to fostering a pet, here are just a few of them you can look in to:

Seacoast Area Feline Education and Rescue in Hampton

Animal Rescue League in Bedford

NHSPCA in Stratham

Also, there is no evidence that pets can contract or spread the virus, according to the CDC.
