New Hampshire Lottery Ticket Pays Winner Over 3.5 Million Dollars
Oh, to dream! It could happen to you, but only if you buy the ticket.
There was a lottery ticket purchased in Peterborough, New Hampshire at the Shaw's Supermarket that has hit for a gigantic lottery jackpot paying out $3,575,000, according to WMUR. The next drawing for this game is Saturday.

The NH Lottery Sees Lots of Winners
Recently, I have become a lottery player, specifically the Megabucks and Powerball tickets. I'm not so much a scratch ticket girl. I think I like the anticipation of waiting for the results. Ever since I've started to play these games, New Hampshire has had a lot of big money winners. If my memory serves, we just had a 2 million dollar winner over the Summer.
Lottery Winners Have to Pay Taxes
No matter what, there are two things in this life that are certain - Death and Taxes. If the lottery winners jackpot is $3.575 million, if they get paid in one lump sum, I'm guessing that Uncle Sam is going to take about 40%, leaving a total of approximately $2.14. Not too shabby.
I can certainly understand people who get caught up in playing the lottery too much. That promise of a win can get addicting. It's the reason why Vegas makes everything so easy and comfortable. Do you notice there are no windows in casinos in Vegas? People can't tell if the sun has come up and they have been there all night. Drinks are free, etc.
