New Mask Or Caramel Apple?

I took this selfie just to brag about the amazing caramel apple I had, not knowing that it would look remarkably similar to a new mask OR that I had one of the most coveted delights in the entire Seacoast of NH.

Just last week I watched the hypnotic application of caramel to a fresh picked McKenzie's Farm apple and since then every single compartment of my brain was obsessed with getting one.

Is there a such thing as being TOO popular? I guess the answer, in the short term is 'YES!'

I've been a bit of a caramel apple connoisseur since I was old enough to have teeth so I know a few things about quality.

You HAVE to have a good apple as the 'core' of this confection. Just some mushy bruised thing from a cellophane bag isn't going to cut it. And the fresh picked ginger gold apple was incredible.

Also, like many treats at Lickee's, the caramel has a flavor and consistency that I can't quite figure out. It's truly a one of a kind experience.

No wonder they're sold out!
