I have never seen an episode of Guy's Grocery Games, but I'm going to on January 20, when Bobby Marcotte will be making an appearance.

How cool is that?  I just love Bobby's story.  Here's Bobby's bio from the hopandgrind.com website:

Chef Bobby Marcotte started in the restaurant business at age 14, just 3 years later he was a sous chef and by age 21 a Head Chef.  In 2013 he was chosen to helm The Tuckaway Tavern & Butchery as Executive Chef, responsible for food development in both the Tavern and Butchery.  Under Bobby's leadership the Tuckaway Tavern has gone on to receive a bevy of accolades from New Hampshire Magazine, Spoon University, Hippo, and City Voter.  The Tuckaway Tavern was also featured on Food Network's Diners Drive In's and Dives and Bobby then went on to win Guys Grocery Games: Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives Tournament not just once, but TWICE.

Bobby deserves all the accolades that he gets.  You'd say the same thing if you ever tasted his food.  It's friggin' amazing.  I don' know how he does it.  I see him around town sometimes, as I live in Raymond and I asked him once about how he makes his meat so delicious.

There was no way he was going to tell me, but I thought I would ask.  I got the ol' "best ingredient" line.  I don't blame him.  I wouldn't give it up either if my food tasted that good.

The Tuckaway in Raymond was first, then Bobby took his talents to the Hop + Grind in Durham, NH and Peobody, MA.
